Getting started with Calanthe

1. Create your account

1. Go to calanthe.ai/register.
2. Sign up with an email and password, or continue with a Google or Microsoft account.
3. Complete the quick security check (one tap) that keeps bots out.
4. Accept the Terms of Service when prompted, and you are in.

Every new account starts on the Free plan. No credit card required.

2. Choose a plan

You can use Calanthe free forever, or unlock more capable models and features with a paid plan:

• Free ($0): Calanthe Lite with a light daily allowance. Great for trying her out.
• Pro ($19.99/mo): adds Calanthe Standard, a much larger monthly allowance, and voice conversations.
• Pro+ ($26.99/mo): adds Calanthe Plus with its 1M-token context window and image generation.
• Power ($99.99/mo): everything, including Calanthe Pro and custom Agents.

3. A tour of the chat screen

• Left sidebar: your conversations, grouped by date (Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days). The New chat button is at the top, and you can search your history with Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows).
• Model picker (top of the chat): switch between the Calanthe models your plan includes.
• Role picker (chat header): turn Calanthe into one of 12 specialists, like Code Reviewer or Travel Planner. See the roles guide.
• Chat input (bottom): type your message here. The paperclip attaches files; on paid plans the microphone starts a voice message.
• Settings: click your avatar in the bottom-left corner for settings, your plan, and log out.

4. Pick a model

Each model is a different balance of speed and depth:

• Calanthe Lite: fast answers for everyday questions and quick drafts.
• Calanthe Standard: the workhorse. Balanced reasoning and speed for most tasks.
• Calanthe Plus: deep analysis with a 1M-token context window, plus image generation.
• Calanthe Pro: maximum capability, including rich image understanding and native PDF analysis.

5. Start chatting

1. Type a message and press Enter to send (Shift+Enter adds a new line).
2. Calanthe streams her reply as she writes it. You can stop generation at any point.
3. Conversations save automatically and get a title on their own.
4. Hover a conversation in the sidebar and click the three-dot menu to rename, share, duplicate, archive, or delete it.
5. Use bookmarks to tag conversations you want to find again quickly.

Suggestion chips

On a fresh chat you will see a row of suggestion chips: Tell me about yourself, What can you do?, Add me to your phone, and Pricing & plans. Tap one for an instant answer. These answers are free; they do not count against your monthly usage.
