One click turns Calanthe into a focused specialist. Twelve roles, each with expert instructions baked in.
A role is a curated set of expert instructions layered onto whichever Calanthe model you are using. Pick "Code Reviewer" and she reviews like a senior engineer; pick "Math Tutor" and she teaches step by step instead of just handing you the answer. Same Calanthe, sharper focus.
Each role also has its own page with details and example starters: browse them at calanthe.ai/roles.
?role= and the role's name to a new-chat link, for example /c/new?role=code-reviewer. Handy for bookmarks.A role applies to the conversation where you picked it and stays active for that conversation, even when you come back later. New chats start without a role unless you choose one. You can switch roles or clear the role at any time from the picker.
On paid plans, roles carry into voice conversations. Pick Interview Coach and practice answers out loud, or have the Math Tutor talk you through a problem.
Roles work with whichever models your plan includes, on every plan. They pair especially well with the more capable models: a Code Reviewer on Calanthe Plus can hold a very large codebase in view at once.
The docs are growing. If you can't find what you need, email support. We use those questions to prioritize what to write next.
